The first three months will focus on establishing a strong digital foundation while simultaneously launching REI's social media strategy. This initial phase includes a comprehensive website redesign to improve accessibility, discoverability, user experience, and conversion before transitioning into ongoing communications and brand management.

Improve site architecture and on-page SEO to increase discoverability through Google and other search engines.
Optimize page titles, metadata, headings, and content hierarchy to support long-term organic search performance and reduce reliance on paid advertising.

Implement accessibility best practices to create a more inclusive experience for all visitors, including individuals with visual or hearing impairments.
Improve color contrast, image alt text, keyboard navigation, heading structure, and video accessibility.
Help reduce potential compliance risks associated with ADA accessibility standards.

Reframe and consolidate the navigation menu to create a more intuitive user journey with fewer decision points.
Simplify pathways to workshops, resources, and organizational information.
Improve page hierarchy and content organization to reduce friction and increase engagement.

Incorporate video throughout the website to increase engagement and better communicate REI's mission.
Apply proven user experience and behavioral design principles that encourage visitors to explore additional content, spend more time on the site, and take meaningful action.

(PROJECT SCOPE)
This project encompasses the design and production of all visual materials required for a 3-day conference event. A Senior Designer will be responsible for creating a cohesive suite of print, signage, digital, and web assets that maintain consistent branding across all touch points.
Project Inclusions:

Print Materials Design of an Event Program / Agenda booklet and a printed Event Flyer for in-person distribution. All print files will be delivered in print-ready format with proper bleed and resolution.
Signage Design of four signage pieces including exterior directional signage, a welcome / entrance banner, a registration desk banner, and sponsor recognition boards. Files will be delivered in formats suitable for large-format printing.
Email Campaign Design of six email templates covering the full event communication lifecycle: Save the Date, Registration Open, Speaker Announcements, Countdown / Reminder, Day-of Logistics, and Post-Event Thank You.
Social Media Graphics Design of five social media graphic sets including Event Announcement graphics, Speaker Spotlight cards, Sponsor Highlight posts, Countdown graphics, and an Agenda / Schedule carousel. Graphics will be sized for standard platform specifications.

Brand guidelines, logos, and approved color palette will be provided prior to project start
All copy, speaker information, and event details will be supplied by the client
Estimates are based on one (1) round of revisions per asset
Photography or custom illustration is not included unless separately scoped

PAYMENT BREAKDOWN
A 40% deposit is due to kick-off your project. Remaining balances is due at project completion.
